Privacy Notice

How we handle your information. Updated 1 October 2026.

Who we are

G & M ROOFING SERVICES LTD is responsible for your personal information. Company number 15435799. Registered office: 24 Turnstone Road, Bloxwich, United Kingdom, WS3 1EQ.

For privacy questions, email info@gmroofingltd.co.uk.

Your enquiry

We use your name, contact details, property address or postcode, work details and any optional photos to respond, prepare quotations and arrange roofing work. Required fields help us assess and respond to your request; you can also contact us directly.

We rely on taking steps at your request before a contract, or fulfilling a contract. For general business enquiries and website security, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to requests and preventing abuse.

Storage and providers

Within the business, only the owner handling enquiries has access to them. Our Bluehost VPS processes website requests, and enquiries and attachments are delivered to our Google Workspace mailbox.

Providers may process information outside the UK. Google’s data-processing terms describe its transfer protections, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. See Google’s data-processing terms and Bluehost’s privacy centre. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs, including photos, are deleted six months after the last contact. For accepted jobs, record retention is explained in your customer paperwork.

Website security

We process IP addresses and verification information to prevent spam and repeated submissions. Our security records use hashed identifiers rather than storing raw IP addresses. They expire within 15 minutes and are cleared on subsequent requests after a short grace period; expired records may remain while the site is idle. They contain no enquiry text or photos.

We do not use visitor analytics or advertising trackers. See our Cookie Notice.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your information, or request a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, including our use of information for general enquiries and security. Email us to make a request or raise a concern.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
